This card was made for one of my son's friends, who had his appendix taken out last Friday :( . Everything went well and he is going to be just fine. Wanted to cheer him up with a card though. Who doesn't like getting a card and knowing they are being thought about!!??!! This card was made with the Cricut Dr. Check Up Cartridge. Well I am busy, busy putting together Crop, Drop, & Roll, which is taking place on February 22 & 23, 2013 in Montrose, BC. I will post the details of this Crop on the "Schedule of Events" page. The Close To My Heart Spring/Summer catalog is here! Contact me if you would like a copy! I will start taking orders out of the new catalog starting February 1st! In the meantime, I took the CTMH Display Tray and this is what I designed. This tray is 13" x 13 1/4 " black wood and is hinged on the back for hanging and only cost $19.95. The quality of this tray is magnificent! I am really excited about the 5 x 7 Hinged Tray in the new CTMH catalog. It is a box that opens and closes and is also made out black wood. I will post a pic as soon as I finish my design. I'm glad to be back and I am ready to get busy sharing many new card designs, scrapbook pages, etcetera with you! These cute little coffin filled with candy bones is what you will get when you come to my house tonight! These coffins are made with the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge. This cartridge has so many things to make for Halloween including other holidays, and has over 700 images! Whether you are into scrapbooking, card making, or other paper crafting, the Artiste cartridge is a must have. Contact me to order. I used the triple time stamping technique to make this Halloween card. The stamps are from the CTMH All Hallows Eve set as well as the embellishment. The jar stamp is from Stampin' Up! This is a very easy, quick, but awesome technique for cards. I have been triple time stamping everything lol! You can find a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmculp_tz74 Happy Stamping! My local pet store, Pet Needs Plus, will be carrying my handmade cards with various animals on them. I am currently putting together Christmas card sets with different dogs and cats on them which can also be purchased at Pet Needs Plus. Send me a request if you are looking for a particular dog or cat and I will do my best to accommodate. |
