This week's challenge on BBTB2 is a sympathy card challenge. While we probably have more birthday or Christmas cards in our stock, we at some time will need a sympathy card. I think its best to have a few made up to keep in your stock. It may be hard or too emotional to create a sympathy card for someone very close.
I used a few Cricut cartridges to make this project. I used My Quiet Book for the trees and pond, Noah's ABCs for the dove, Ole for the sun (and I sliced it in the Design Space), and the sentiment tag came from my favourite "go to" cartridge, CTMH Art Philosophy. I finished the card off with some cloud embossing and sponging around the edges to soften the card a bit. I really never get too crazy with much bling on sympathy cards. I prefer to focus on God's creations (ie. the trees, water, sun, dove, etcetera).
